The aim of your Manufacturing Alliance is to form an association between local companies for their mutual benefit.
The Manufacturing Alliance will work in collaboration with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
- To provide a local forum for its members
- To enable peer networking and benchmarking
- To identify and encourage co-operative working and inter-supply opportunities.
- To create a forum to advise members of manufacturing best practice.
- To provide a contact point to access manufacturing support and advice through the regional Centre for Manufacturing Excellence
- To give guidance, advice and support in relation to workforce skills development
Secretariat Function:
To achieve and support these aims the Alliance is co-ordinated by a secretariat function, provided by the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
Alliance Membership:
This will be available to all Manufacturing organisations irrespective of size or nature of value added activity, within the Wakefield and District Area.
Development of the Alliance will be through organised events both locally and regionally, via the Alliance Steering Group and the use of this specifically designed website.
Membership is free and Membership certificates will be issued |
